Larimer County deputies are asking neighbors around Carter Lake to help identify a white-bearded man in a red hat who they say is tied to a string of residential burglaries in the area.
According to the sheriff’s office, the man was last seen near Carter Lake carrying a large backpack and a white bucket. Deputies are warning residents not to approach him and to call 911 or the sheriff’s non-emergency line if they spot him.
In a Facebook post published April 23, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office shared a photo of the man and said deputies believe he is associated with several burglary incidents in residential areas near Carter Lake, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office (Facebook). The post asks anyone with information to contact law enforcement and repeats the warning not to approach him.
