The University of Colorado Boulder will discontinue graduate degrees in journalism entrepreneurship and in electrical and computer engineering due to program redundancy and a lack of enrollment.
Dissolving the two degree programs will have little to no impact on students and faculty, according to the university. The University of Colorado Board of Regents approved the degree discontinuance requests at its regular meeting on April 16 at CU Denver.
One of the discontinued degrees is a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The College of Engineering & Applied Science has historically offered technical Master of Engineering degrees, which have all been discontinued in favor of Master of Science degrees.
