SALUDA COUNTY, S.C. — A 61-year-old Aiken County man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night in Saluda County after investigators say his motorcycle struck a deer before another vehicle hit him and left the scene.
According to the Saluda County Coroner’s Office, the victim was identified as Mark Wharton, 61, of Aiken County.
