Lane closures are in place along a busy section of Interstate 93 as Massachusetts drivers get set to hit the road for the afternoon and evening commutes.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said lanes are closed on the northbound side of the highway at Exit 23 in Medford due to an earlier fuel spill.
MassDOT officials said the closures are expected to continue through the afternoon commute, and drivers are being urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible…
