GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids Police officers plan to be working overtime this summer with the opening of the Acrisure Amphitheater.
Police Sergeant Jeff Dionne said this week that officers will be working full shifts in the opening month, being stationed at key intersections near the venue.
“I have enough staffing for all of the events in May at both the amphitheater and the arena,” Dionne said. “Our officers really stepped up at the request to staff this, and I’ve got enough volunteers to staff it.”…
