Spokane man charged in Northern Quest casino case

SPOKANE, Wash. — A 33-year-old man was charged in connection with alleged incidents at Northern Quest Casino and Resort and had a trial set for May.

According to the documents, Jeremiah Villegas was accused of using a device in 2025 to affect coin pusher slot machines at the casino. During a nine-day period in August and September, casino cameras reportedly showed him pressing on the sides of the machines with his hands in his pockets, which the documents said caused vibrations and dropped coins.

Villegas had been given a 99-year ban from the casino in June after he was accused of pushing and kicking other coin pusher games there…
