Person Held in Connection to Disappearance of Two USF Students

A person has been taken into custody in connection with the disappearance of two University of South Florida doctoral students, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

The individual, who is not one of the missing students, was found barricaded inside a residence near USF’s Tampa campus. Authorities have not confirmed whether this person is a suspect but have indicated they are linked to the case.

The missing students, 27-year-olds Zamil Limon and Nahida Bristy, were last seen in the Tampa area on April 16, according to the University of South Florida Police Department.
