SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A woman intoxicated at twice the legal limit got behind the wheel, believing her Tesla’s autopilot would get her home safely, the Florida Highway Patrol said Friday.
According to Trooper Kenn Watson, at around 2 a.m., 37-year-old Kimberly Brown was traveling northbound on I-75, intoxicated at more than twice the legal limit, making the assumption that the Tesla would get her home safely.
