How close do most people come to having their dreams come true? For many, not very close. But for Erin Campbell, her original wish to open an arts supplies store on King Street in downtown Hillsborough missed by a couple of years, and a few feet.
“I wanted to go into the space where the Town Scoop is,” she said. “That’s where I was dreaming. I was like, ‘Oh, man, that building is so cool. I want to open an art store there.’ And it didn’t happen.”
This week, Anne & Arthur Fine Arts Supply opens at 117 W. King St., essentially making Campbell’s dream a reality. The space is much bigger, and will allow the store to expand its offerings, both for arts supplies and printing needs…
