SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KRON) — San Leandro-based Loard’s ice cream issued a voluntary recall on several ice cream flavors due to improper ingredient labeling.
The recall includes 43 different flavors sold in 32- and 56-ounce containers contained undeclared allergens, according to the recall notice, which provided a full list of products. The products were distributed to Loard’s ice cream parlors in Northern California and could be purchased from the store-front freezers.
“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, or wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products,” according to the FDA website…
