Dr. Jerry Collins spent a medical career built on love.
“Just thinking back it was just a love for children, that was the big thing,” the longtime Murfreesboro pediatrician said after his recent retirement. “When I did my medical school rotations, I really fell in love with pediatrics. When I did my (obstetrics) rotations, I found I was more in love with the children than taking care of the moms.
