Downtown Norristown is getting ready to swap car traffic for live music and food trucks as the borough stages its fifth annual Juneteenth Jubilee on Friday, June 19, from noon to 6 p.m. Sections of Main and DeKalb streets will be temporarily closed so the celebration can spill into the roadway, with stages, vendors and a kids’ zone turning the area into a daylong street party built around history and community.
The Municipality of Norristown is producing the festival and has posted sponsorship and vendor details online.
