ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The site of a house explosion on Lake Avenue in Rochester last week has been cleared.
The explosion happened on Tuesday last week. All the debris has been cleaned up and a fresh layer of dirt has been laid over the lot. Mesh fencing that blocked off where the house stood is also gone.
Investigators are still working to figure out why the house near Augustine Street exploded. No one was hurt in the explosion, but the woman living there had to find a new place to stay…
