Effingham County Fire and Rescue responded to several fires Thursday afternoon and into the night.
According to their Facebook page, fire crews responded to a brush fire sometime between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Egypt-Ardmore Road where units put out two fast moving fires.
Then at 6:40 p.m., firefighters responded to a wildfire on Kildare Road where crews battled a 90-acre wildfire. Effingham Fire and Rescue said at 10 p.m. that Georgia Forestry was able to extinguish the blaze…
