Gannon University kicked off its annual Day of Giving, aimed at bringing together alumni, students and supporters to give back.
The 24-hour push to raise money and expand opportunities for students started at 8 p.m. on Thursday and goes till 8 p.m. on Friday.

The event was initially made to celebrate everyone at Gannon before expanding it to include fundraisers to give back to the university.
The end goal is $500,000 and 1,500 donors before the event ends.
