A public hearing will be held on a proposed solid waste transfer station/materials recovery facility in Ward C that is currently under review by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). If approved, the facility — which has received considerable pushback from residents — would add a third waste site to the city’s West Side.
