8 MS-13 members sentenced to decades in prison for Houston-area murders

A group of Salvadoran men who last year admitted to being members of MS-13 and participating in a violent conspiracy that resulted in murders in multiple states have been sentenced to decades in federal prison over the bloody crime spree.

A federal judge in Galveston on Monday sentenced Edgardo “Largo” Martinez-Rodriguez to 50 years for his part in the racketeering conspiracy. The sentence came after three other men — Angel Miguel “Darki” Aguilar-Ochoa, Wilson Jose “Discreto” Ventura-Mejia and Walter Chicas-Garcia — received identical sentences.
