Davis also faces charges of aggravated harassment after allegedly threatening to shoot his ex-girlfriend, who is the mother of his child, on April 12, Katz said.

The 18-year-old surrendered himself to the 113th Precinct after returning to New York City from Jamaica on Friday, according to Katz. He fled to Jamaica shortly after fatally shooting Pierre, Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch reported on social media.
