LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Nebraska Athletics named Nicole Jones as the next women’s gymnastics head coach Saturday morning, making her the sixth person to hold this position in Nebraska history.
The announcement comes nearly three weeks after the departure of head coach Heather Brink. Athletic Director Troy Dannen announced the change in leadership on April 6.
Jones, who has spent the past 16 seasons helping build Michigan State into a Big Ten and national power, comes to Lincoln after assisting in MSU’s run to its fifth consecutive NCAA Regional appearance…
