Milwaukee Youth Flood City Programs as CDGA Touts Big 2025 Wins

Milwaukee says its money is hitting the streets. On April 24, 2026, the City of Milwaukee released its 2025 Community Development Grants Administration (CDGA) impact report and pushed out the highlights on Facebook, pointing to a year where thousands of residents tapped into city-supported services. The document shows 14,520 young people took part in programming, 521 jobseekers landed full-time employment, and hundreds of housing units were rehabbed or built with grant support. City leaders are holding up the totals as evidence that federal and local dollars are flowing into neighborhood services and affordable housing projects.
