The Perry Iowa Historical Society will host a fundraising dinner Friday prior to its monthly program and business meeting. The society will serve a pork tenderloin dinner from 5:30-7 p.m. on Friday, May 1 at the Perry Elks Lodge at 2823 Willis Ave.
The meal costs $15 and includes a pork tenderloin, French fries and dessert. Community members can grab a meal to go or can enjoy it in person. Proceeds from the dinner will be used to support local history and community efforts.
USA 250 has inspired people everywhere to celebrate the things that are truly American. In keeping with that spirit, the Perry Iowa Historical Society is hosting a series of programs about the history of Perry and its citizens.
