LUBBOCK, Texas — A project to finish building a bridge at the US 87, FM 41 intersection is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 27. General contractor Webber Construction, LLC, of The Woodlands, Texas will resume work to complete the structure.
In addition to making improvements to the drainage structures, crews are set to begin work by setting up erosion control measures and earthwork to build up the roadway on the southern end and wall construction.

The crossover at the northern end of the project will be closed beginning Monday, April 27. As the project continues, the FM 41 crossover will also be closed to traffic and detoured. The FM 41 crossover closure is expected to begin in late-summer.
