Jamestown-Scotland Ferry reopened after mechanical issues

JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — The Jamestown-Scotland Ferry has reopened after it was suspended due to mechanical issues Monday morning, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The ferry service was suspended around 7:50 a.m. Transportation officials urged travelers in Surry and James City County to use alternate routes.
