Cooler day with decreasing clouds for Monday

(WWAY) — After some rain yesterday, temperatures will be cooler outside with decreasing clouds expected.

Cooler air is flowing in after the front that brought around half an inch of rain. Temps today with highs in the lower 70s. Weak high pressure will build down from the north bringing sunshine and clouds. The high pressure holds on Tuesday bringing partly cloudy skies with mostly dry weather with high in the mid 70s. Wednesday increasing rain chances are expected with temperatures into the upper 70s. Relatively light rainfall totals continue over the next 7 days… with only a half inch to perhaps 1 inch in spots. Unfortunately… it will not be enough to relieve the ongoing severe drought in place.
