Luke Combs Breaks Ohio Stadium Concert Attendance Record with 97,367 Fans

Luke Combs shattered the attendance record for a concert at Ohio Stadium by more than 20,000.

The country music star’s concert at Ohio Stadium on Saturday night drew a crowd of 97,367 fans to the Shoe, breaking the previous record of 75,245 fans for a Pink Floyd concert at Ohio Stadium in 1994.

The record-setting crowd was made possible by a stage design that hadn’t previously been used inside the Shoe. While previous concerts at Ohio Stadium put the stage in one end zone, preventing tickets from being sold on that side of the stadium, Combs utilized an in-the-round stage design in the middle of the field, allowing tickets to be sold throughout the Horseshoe, which has a capacity of more than 100,000 for Ohio State football games…
