COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Franklin County man on Monday pleaded guilty to the attempted murder of federal officers after he fired several rounds at them in a Springfield hotel, according to U.S. Attorney Dominick S. Gerace’s office.
On Aug. 14, 2025, 35-year-old Andre Jordan, of Reynoldsburg, was tracked by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) to a Quality Inn in Springfield.
When law enforcement announced their presence, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said Jordan fired a shot through the window toward the pool area, which was in the vicinity of the officers and federal agents.
