FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A woman allegedly stole a Fort Wayne Police Department squad car and crashed it into another vehicle north of downtown Monday afternoon, the agency says.
Police say they were first dispatched to reports of an unwanted person at a home in the 1000 block of Columbia Avenue. When they arrived, officers were met with a seemingly incoherent woman.
They determined no crime had occurred and released the woman, however, shortly after, she allegedly entered an unsecured FWPD patrol vehicle and drove away in it, leading to a brief pursuit…
