Man holds Lyft driver at gunpoint, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department is searching for a man accused of holding a rideshare driver at gunpoint.

On April 24, 2026, at 5:15 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault call on Faxon Avenue in the Crosstown area.

When officers arrived, they learned that the the victim was working as a Lyft driver when he picked up the suspect on Faxon Avenue near Claybrook Street…
