Toledo gas prices spike roughly 26 cents on average

TOLEDO, Ohio — The average price per gallon in Toledo rose by 26.3 cents in the past week to $3.86—an increase of more than 7 percent from the $3.60 average price a week ago.

Toledo’s average cost is 1.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and more than 90 cents higher than a year ago, according to a GasBuddy analysis. The cheapest station in Toledo was priced at $3.51 on Sunday while the most expensive was $4.99, a difference of $1.48.

Statewide, the lowest price on Sunday was $2.99 while the highest was $5.69, a difference of $2.70. Nationally the average price per gallon of gasoline rose 7 cents to $4.04—nearly 6 cents higher than a month ago and and more than 94 cents higher than a year ago…
