TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — To celebrate America’s 250th, the city of Tampa is set to have a high-energy, family-friendly Fourth of July celebration.
“Liberty by the Bay” will light up Julian B. Lane Park and downtown waterfront on Saturday, July 4, from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the City of Tampa announced.
“This is a once-in-a-generation moment, and Tampa is ready to celebrate in a big way,” said Mayor Jane Castor. “As we mark 250 years of American independence, we’re bringing our community together on the waterfront for a celebration filled with pride.
