New Castle County Police (NCCPD) arrested a Middletown man early Sunday morning, April 26, 2026, on DUI and gun charges after a car he was driving crashed into a house on Bunche Boulevard near New Castle.
According to police, when bystanders came out to check on the driver, 34-year old Shayron Barksdale allegedly pulled a gun and threatened to shoot them before running off.
Police arrested him a couple of blocks away and a K-9 officer found a gun nearby…
