Downtown Women’s Center celebrates 37th anniversary with luncheon

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Downtown Women’s Center is celebrating its 37th anniversary with a spring luncheon fundraising event on May 5.

According to DWC officials, the luncheon, which is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is located at the Civic Center in the North Exhibit Hall, celebrates serving 60 women and their children.

Organizers also highlighted that those who graduated from the DWC Recovery Program in 2024 were reported to still be “100% clean and sober” as of 2026.
