Vinton, Iowa (Apr. 26, 2026) — A stellar field of cars put on a show at The Bullring for opening night at Benton County Speedway as Kyle Olson held off a hard-charging John Oliver Jr. to win the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature.
Olson and Oliver quickly distanced themselves from the field. Kevin Rose moved into third as the leaders approached lapped traffic, while Johnathon Logue worked into fourth as the laps wound down. Olson took the checkers for his first win of the season in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region, followed by Oliver, Logue, Rose, and Nathan Ballard.
From the middle of the field, Kollin Hibdon raced to victory in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds. Owen Barnhill took charge early as Hibdon worked the low line to advance through the field. Hibdon moved into the lead as Troy Cordes and Troy Morris III battled for third. With five laps to go, Hibdon extended his advantage while Cordes moved into second. Hibdon scored his second win of the season in the Razor Chassis North Central Region, following his earlier victory at Independence Motor Speedway on Tuesday, and his third IMCA Modified win overall in 2026. Cordes and Morris rounded out the top three, with Barnhill fourth and Chris Snyder fifth…
