A trucker’s wife has started a GoFundMe after her husband was killed by a lightning strike in a gas station parking lot earlier this month.
The incident happened on April 16th in a gas station parking lot in Waukesha County, Wisconsin off of Interstate 94 near Golf Road.
According to TMJ4, police were called during a thunder storm after another gas station patron noticed a man lying on the ground. Emergency responders arrived but were unable to save truck driver Pete Garamone. The National Weather Service has since confirmed a lightning strike in the area…
