NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) – Cleveland County Sheriff Chris Amason announced his resignation on Monday afternoon.
Sheriff Amason’s resignation letter submitted to the Cleveland County Clerk’s Office says in part, “After 33 years of law enforcement service, the time has come for me to retire and begin the next chapter of my life.”
