After a seven-year run in the heart of Houston’s East Downtown, True Anomaly Brewing is preparing to pour its last pint. The space-inspired taproom has been a local launch pad for beer lovers, and that pull was stronger than ever this weekend as fans packed the space before it closes for good on April 30.
In what was a celebration of life on True Anomaly’s grand opening anniversary, regulars, families, and even newbies filled every corner of the award-winning brewery at 2012 Dallas St. People lined up for the brewery’s signature Belgian brews all the way from the front door.
“There’s a diverse group of people that have been with us for a long time, and there are a lot of familiar faces so I’m very proud to bring that community together one last time,” said Ben Stahl, True Anomaly’s co-founder.
“I know I will look back on this with a lot of tremendous memories.”…
