Local father pleads guilty to manslaughter, child neglect in 2024 rollover crash

TULSA, Okla. — Elliott Binney entered a guilty plea during his court appearance on Monday. Binney pled guilty to several charges, including first degree manslaughter and child neglect, per District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler.

“Mr. Binney today pled guilty to several crimes including first degree manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatality collision and child neglect,” said Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler.

On Thursday, January 11, 2024, Binney was arrested in Checotah after leaving the scene of a crash that resulted in the death of his daughter.
