A new roundabout on Rock Creek Parkway in Superior, intended to improve pedestrian and biker safety, will be under construction soon.
The roundabout at the intersection of Rock Creek and Coal Creek Drive is part of a larger construction project slated to affect the parkway from Indiana Street to Coalton Road. The project was unanimously approved in the Superior Town Council’s March 23 meeting.
“Pedestrians lose anytime there’s interaction between a vehicle and a human,” Councilmember Neal Shah said in the meeting. “We need to make the road safer, and a roundabout does that.”…
