TACOMA, Wash. — Step into Tacoma’s new Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, and COO Ben Whitworth said you enter a world where he hopes every child will see themselves represented.
“You have patients who are 3, 7 and 8,” said Whitworth. “And you have patients who are 13, 16, and 18 so how do you design a space that feels whimsical but not too childish?”
