MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — On Monday evening, a tandem truck overturned near a runaway truck ramp, resulting in the closure of NC 226 in McDowell County for several hours, officials said.
The call was received at 7:09 p.m., with emergency personnel responding to an overturned truck in the 3000 block of NC 226 North, McDowell County Emergency Services Director William Kehler said.
