A man from Erie, Pennsylvania is facing a slew of charges after he allegedly left the scene of a collision involving a motor vehicle in Forestville last Thursday. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies and State Police were called to the scene on Main Street just before 3:30 PM, with deputies locating the vehicle that was involved. Further investigation found that the driver, 56-year-old David Johnson, was allegedly intoxicated. He was charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, improper passing, driving to the left of pavement markings, failure to keep right, operating with no front/rear bumper, and unregistered motor vehicle.
