Land & Lake Cafe, a casual breakfast and lunch spot connected to the Hilton Orrington/Evanston, opened its doors Wednesday. The location is an expansion of LM Restaurant Group’s in-hotel dining service, catering to both hotel guests and city residents.
The clean, minimalistic look of the cafe mirrors the personal style of LM Restaurant Group co-owner Nicole Quaisser. She said she hopes the cafe’s light, modern aesthetic will attract customers.
The Evanston location opened after almost a year’s delay. Quaisser said the company waited until construction finished for their private event venue, The Lighthouse Room, located behind the cafe.
