Morning Showers and Mild

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Starting off the day chilly and cloudy with a few showers. Showers have continued to pass and the afternoon/evening should remain mostly dry (isolated showers possible). Clouds will start to clear before returning overnight. Chilly conditions right now, but we will be turning mild with highs in the mid to upper 60s.

SHOWERS/STORMS WEDNESDAY

Tomorrow we will see a low pressure system pass through bringing showers throughout the day and pop up storms for the afternoon/evening. The most active time period is still between 10 AM to 6 PM. Isolated shower/storm is still possible outside of this time frame. The SPC has issued a marginal risk (level 1/5) which means we could see some isolated severe thunderstorms. Rain totals appear to be under 0.5″, but more could be seen locally due to storms.

7 DAY FORECAST

Temperatures remain below average for the rest of this week. Frost is possible Friday night through Sunday night.
