Woman faces felony charges for shooting into north Charlotte apartments, seriously injuring one

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 26-year-old Charlotte woman was arrested Sunday after police said she fired into two occupied apartments in north Charlotte, seriously injuring at least one person.

Tenaia Monet Boyles faces two felony counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property and a misdemeanor charge of injury to personal property, according to Mecklenburg County court records.

Charging documents allege Boyles fired a 9mm Kel-Tec handgun into apartments along the 6200 block of Hackberry Creek Trail. One victim suffered serious bodily injury. A second unit occupied was also struck, records show…
