TIFFIN, Ohio — First Brands Group has pushed back the separation date for 345 employees at its TMD Tiffin manufacturing facility by one month, extending layoffs to May 31, 2026, according to a notice filed with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
The Cleveland-based automotive parts manufacturer submitted the extension notice on April 24, 2026, citing ongoing efforts to sell certain U.S. facilities as the reason for the delay. The company originally announced in February that the facility would close April 30, 2026, eliminating 407 jobs.
