AKRON, Ohio — George Taylor, the 23-year-old man charged in a deadly crash that killed 18-year-old Isabelle Grubaugh in 2025, has pleaded guilty to charges, according to Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich.
Taylor pleaded guilty to the following charges on Monday:
- 1 count of aggravated vehicular homicide
- 1 count of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol
- 1 count of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol concentration of 0.17 or higher
“George Taylor killed Isabelle Grubaugh that night with his reckless actions. There is no excuse for drunk driving,” said Prosecutor Kolkovich. “My heart goes out to Isabelle Grubaugh’s family during this deeply difficult time. No family should have to endure losing a loved one this way.”
