A mixed-use development that is part of The Crossings at Brick Church Station in East Orange has secured six new tenants, taking over nearly 75,000 square feet of retail space.
Burlington, Five Below, Rainbow, Verizon, Newark Community Health Center, and Angel Nails have signed leases, according to a statement from Triangle Equities and Incline Capital.
The new tenants are expected to address a retail gap that has cost the city more than $1.4 billion in consumer spending, according to Triangle Equities.
Burlington will anchor the retail lineup with 48,900 square feet, while the other stores are as follows:
- Five Below: 9,600 square feet
- Rainbow: 6,400 square feet
- Newark Community Health Center: 4,500 square feet
- Angel Nails: 3,400 square feet
- Verizon: 1,424 square feet
The development will also house an expanded ShopRite location…
