ROCHELLE, Ill. (WIFR) – Union Pacific’s Big Boy 4014 Steam Engine will make a whistle stop in the Hub City this summer.
The historic train is scheduled to be in Rochelle from 3-3:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, at the Rochelle Railroad Park, 124 N. 9th Street.
Rochelle is one of more than 50 whistle stops along the train’s historic coast-to-coast tour to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. Several major display events are also planned, including a six-hour viewing on June 3 in West Chicago…
