Speed sells: faster Internet powering business in Caddo, Bossier, NWLA

More than $1.5 billion will have been spent in Louisiana on fast internet by 2028. Millions will have gone into parishes in the northwestern part of the state; into homes and businesses in towns and villages like Rodessa, Mooringsport, Plain Dealing and Shongaloo.

The investment and the high-speed data sharing it brings are life-changing, said Veneeth Iyengar, executive director of ConnectLA, the state entity tasked with expanding broadband access.
