Rockville, Md. (DG) – An arrest has been made following an armed robbery at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda.
Police say 34-year-old Kilbert Rosales is facing multiple charges after the incident Saturday evening in a parking garage along Democracy Boulevard. Around 6:00 p.m., an off-duty officer was alerted by mall security about a robbery that had just occurred.
Investigators say Rosales approached a man and woman sitting in a parked car outside Nordstrom, opened the driver’s door, and threatened them with a knife before stealing cash and other property.
